I got to participate in a research study on RSD @ Wake Forest today. It was totally spur of the moment! I was at my preliminary appt for my SCS, and the doc said "Hey, you'd be a PERFECT candidate for this study going on at Wake Forest." He set up an appt 20 minutes from the time I left his office! It was fascinating! I'll write more about it later - but WOW - soooo interesting. I'm in massive pain from it - and part 2 will likely suck too, BUT - if I can be a small part of the cure ... or of more effective treatment, it's totally worth it!
